Dear LGBTQIA+ Mormons, Families and Friends:

We recognize that General Conference can arouse difficult feelings among many of our members, and we encourage those of you who are struggling to reach out to others, and for all of us to be aware of ways to support those who are struggling. We offer the resources of Affirmation to serve for processing, connecting and healing in whatever way our people need.

What are our resources?

Affirmation has local chapters and contacts throughout the world. You can find out if there is a group or contact near you on our web site.

Our web site and our Facebook groups also serve as ways to reach out, to seek and give each other support. We recently posted YouTube videos of talks and stories from our recent Affirmation Annual International Conference where you can see and hear inspiring stories of LGBTQIA+ Mormons and their families and friends, and the ways they’re finding peace, healing, reconciliation and personal growth. We encourage you to post your feelings, questions and concerns on our web site and in Facebook, and to explore them with one another. We encourage everyone to reach out to each other in support and care.

Many of us are far-flung, but through our mutual care and concern, we can in effect join hands around the world.

We also invite you to consider the following resources if ever needed which are not provided by Affirmation, but are known and respected by many of our members:
