Francisco Ruiz has served in numerous leadership roles in Affirmation and has supported other leaders and members worldwide to make a difference in the lives of others. He is the recipient of the 2022 Affirmation Mortensen Award.
Current Affirmation Board Member Melissa-Malcolm King was the only presidential candidate to declare by the October 7 deadline and has nominated fellow board members Francisco Ruiz and Kate Mower as senior vice president and vice president, respectively. Once elected and ratified, they will begin their service on January 1st, 2023.

The recognition of our identity goes through a necessary exercise of self-valuation and self-recognition of who we are; of that unique essence that makes us truly authentic and valuable.
This was another unforgettable activity hosted by Affirmation Venezuela that focused on recognizing that we are children of our Heavenly Father and that He loves us.
Affirmation Board Member Melissa Malcolm King spoke at the 2022 Provo Pride Interfaith Service on August 28th. The theme of the service was “An Abundance of Love.”
